Thank you for this post! I am a Dutch florist and living and working in England for almost a year now. In Holland it is very normal to give 10 roses, or any odd number, you hardly get a customer asking for a dozen red roses. This was a big difference for me when I started working in England and I never really understood it. But after reading your post it all makes sense! Thank you for that!
