Flowers to the hospital

While it has always been tradition to send flowers to loved ones recovering in the hospital, researchers are backing up our niceties with evidence that suggests flowers and plants in hospital rooms reduce pain symptoms, the need for pain medication, as well as keep heart rates and blood pressure lower against those in the control group without flowers and plants. Even more interesting is that when asked, the patients indicated the best part of the room was the flowers, when present, and when not present, indicated the TV as the best part of the room. Cheaper than flowers

I'm sorry, but those of us Seinfeld junkies know darn well that the male nude and on occasion the female nude is not a pretty sight or a suitable gift for your significant other. We all remember the Seinfeld episode where Jerry's girlfriend lost her natural beauty when she decided to buff the wood floors in Jerry's apartment. And, come on' hardly anyone wants to see the boyfriend walking around in his natural state...So the next time you, Erin Manning, decide to post about sending a nude pic of yourself instead of sending flowers to save a few bucks, think again, and just send the flowers. Read Erin Manning's post here. Flowers are much prettier, definitely smell better, and oftentimes last much longer than the boyfriend or the girlfriend.
